CTE - Teaching Excellence Program: Certificate Checklists
The Basic Teaching Award and each level of the certificates (certificate, advanced certificate, and certified mentor) have a specific checklist of requirements. These individual checklists have the following areas in common:
This set of requirements recognize faculty involvement in their professional development as well as demonstrate their application of this information in the classroom. This full circle of gaining, applying, and reflecting on pedagogy supports faculty growth and continuous improvement.
Once a faculty completes all requirements on their checklist, they are welcome to submit it for final review and approval by:
- emailing the checklist and a link to an online portfolio where the documentation is located
- emailing the checklist and documentation as one document
- submitting a physical copy of the checklist and documentation directly to either CTE location
