The Associate in Science (AS) Computer Information Systems requires 21 credits of general education courses in addition to core and elective courses totaling 60 credits.
The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Technology requires 42 credits of general education courses (27 credits of foundation courses + 12 credits from declared intersection + 3 credits of experiential learning) in addition to core and elective classes totaling 120 credits. The elective classes can be in any class labeled ACC, BUS, COM, CRI, HSM, LGS, or TEC that are not already fulfilling a course requirement.Declaring a minor in something other than Information Technology can fulfill the elective requirement.
Both degrees require completing either Internship or Capstone.
