If you haven't received the textbooks you ordered yet, you can check with the library to see if we have a copy. **NOTE: The library does NOT have a copy of every textbook.** Borrowing a textbook:
The library has many items that you can borrow:
The Charles "T." Jones Leadership Library has millions of items available to Central Penn patrons. Items that can be found in the library are listed in our online catalog. This includes books, ebooks, DVDs, and more. If our Summerdale location is inconvenient for you, many of our items can be mailed to you. See our Policies page for details. Use this form to request items.
Not sitting on the shelves of the Library are the items available through the Library's online resources. This includes databases from Ebsco, Gale, Proquest, and more. Visit our online resources page for more information and access, which will require logging in with your single sign-on credentials.
If the Charles "T." Jones Leadership Library does not have what you are looking for we can attempt to borrow it from one of the over 2,500 libraries that participate in the AccessPA program. Please keep in mind that requests will need to be processed and mailed from locations across the state. Normal delivery time is between 7 to 14 days, and the amount of time you may borrow the item is up to the lending library. Use the same form as above to request items, including articles through interlibrary loan.
The Library also has a copier, printer, and scanner for students to use in a manner consistent with copyright regulations. Printing and copying for patrons not affiliated with Central Penn College is 20¢/page. In addition to the 15 hard-wired computer stations, the Central Penn College Education Foundation has generously donated laptops that can be checked out by students. See our Policies page for details.
