General Resources for Students

The library has a wide array of materials to enhance your college experience; everything from adjusting to college life, to paying for college, to preparing for life after Central Penn. In this guide, some of our materials are featured but there are many more books and ebooks to help you in your journey.

The various topics we address in this guide are listed on the left. Under each topic we have selected just a few items from our library collection. Click on any of the titles featured to be linked to our online library catalog and you will find more in depth information about each item. These are only a few of the library's holdings on these topics. Please visit us or at least visit our online catalog for many more titles.

A large part of your studies will be devoted to writing and research. In the Writing and Speaking Skills for College Students section, we have listed a number of online resources to help you organize your research and writing process and help you cite your sources.
