Occupational Therapy Assistant: Welcome to the OTA LibGuide!

Online research guide for OTA majors

Welcome to the OTA LibGuide!

The LibGuide is a helpful resource that stores and organizes all sorts of  information about the OTA profession that you can come back to again and again as you work on your degree. Click on the tabs to find book recommendations, podcasts, websites, statistics, and articles that can support you on your learning journey.

  • If this is your first time visiting the Guide take some time to browse around. Get familiar with what's available so later when you need something, you can find it.
  • If you are working on a class research project pay special attention to the statistics tab. It has links to reliable websites that collect and share statistical data.
  • Just trying to memorize your anatomy facts? Try the Human Anatomy links posted in the Web Sources tab. These include 3D models of the human body that you can play around with.
  • Struggling to understand what your textbook is saying? Sometimes you just need to hear the same information in another way. Check out the OTA Courses tab. It lists books and ebooks that align with the topics of each individual OTA course. You can borrow books for an entire term!

If you're having trouble finding what you need - don't panic! Contact the Librarian.
