Making the transition from the military to civilian life is difficult, and adding the transition of becoming a college student can add to the confusion--especially if you have not taken any college classes before.
This guide contains information, resources, and links to the many ways that the Central Penn Library and other departments on campus can help you become a successful student.

- Military Benefit Programs for EducationThis page includes a detailed breakdown of the different military benefit programs available to Central Penn College students.

- Academic Calendar (Term Schedule)The Academic Calendar includes the term dates (starting and ending, plus holidays) for the current year plus the next year. Each year starts with Summer and ends with Spring (e.g. Summer 19 - Fall 19 - Winter 20 - Spring 20).
- Business OfficeThe Business Office handles tuition bills and payments and also administers payment plans. Textbook vouchers are also generated by the Business Office. They do not have a page on the Central Penn website, but you can contact the Business Office at (717) 728-2224 or email StudentAccounts@centralpenn.edu.
- Career ServicesCareer Services offers assistance to both current students and alumni. More than just resume and interviewing assistance, Career Services has extensive resources linked on their webpage. Call (717) 728-2262 or email careerservices@centralpenn.edu.
- College CatalogAcademic programs and policies (including admissions policies), course descriptions, standards and compliance, and financial information can be found in the latest version of the College Catalog. (Other non-academic information is outlined in the Student Life Handbook.)
- Counseling ServicesCentral Penn partners with M & S to provide counseling services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Follow the link for contact information and to schedule an appointment.
- Financial AidFinancial Aid's webpage is well-organized and has information from types of aid to how to pay your bill to links to the forms you need. Call (800) 759-2727 or email FinancialAid@centralpenn.edu.
- Information Technology (I.T.)The IT page has general information about technology at Central Penn. Contact the I.T. Help Desk for assistance with: Blackboard, Microsoft Office, MyMail, my.CentralPenn, and hardware/software. Call (866) 291-4357 or email helpdesk@centralpenn.edu.
- Learning CenterCentral Penn's Learning Center offers assistance with writing, math, accounting, business, and information technology (IT). Virtual sessions and sessions via email are available. Schedule an appointment online--access the Learning Center's calendar on their tab in Blackboard.
- Records and RegistrationRecords and Registration will answer questions about academic records, transcripts, enrollment, scheduling, policies, course registration, diplomas and much more. Call (717) 728-2229 or email recordsandregistration@centralpenn.edu.
- Student HandbookThe Student Handbook includes information about student services, safety and security, residence life, athletics, clubs and activities, the sex discrimination and sexual misconduct policy, and the judiciary process. (See College Catalog for academic and financial information.)
- Textbook Information - GuideVisit the Library's Textbook Information guide to find out about the required books for your classes, using the online bookstore, ebook versions of textbooks, and more.
