Blackboard Basics Guide

The Blackboard Email tool provides another option for communicating with students. While Announcements are good for communicating with the entire class, Email can be used for communication with an individual student or a group of students. Creating email messages from within Blackboard is easy since you do not have to know student email addresses.

Watch the Send Email video for an overview of the Email tool.  Note that we do not access Email as shown in the video.  We have an Email button on the course menu that can be used to access the Email tool directly.
